here it is. in all of its glory days, it's been through a lot, but revolution needs to rest. for fuck's sake, this is the seventh version. if you have a complaint at this point, too bad. we've captured the feel of the song without mixing it like shit, and i'm so damn proud of it. my favorite song can now be my ACTUAL favorite song, if you get my meaning. now don't get thrown off the revolucio jet by star.

This song is my baby, and while I wasn't as hands-on with this version of Revolution, I worked closely with Star and Drop to make sure it was the best possible version of it. THE update.
Misfortune was basically the song that got this account started and I had an update planned for months ago.
Too bad that version was just another FLP edit.
THIS, however, is made from the ground up with probably the most effort I've ever put into a track.
My intentions were to give this track the update it deserves. And, I believe that I made those intentions clear.
Oh yeah, the instrumentation idea of the flute intro was by @sasterdadudester in his unused cover.

After doing an original Undertale track for Sans (twice), I figured it was Papyrus's turn. I've always found it strange how he never got a proper genocide fight, especially given how much he trained to become a royal guardsman. While I can't program him a fight, this is the best I can do. Similarly to Karma, the idea for this came to me out of nowhere, but I'm glad it did, because this was a ton of fun to make. I hope you enjoy it.

Q. What's your favorite song?
A. In general, I prefer listening to emotional tracks. Corridors of Time from the Chrono Trigger soundtrack comes to mind, I can't get enough of that ostinato in the beginning haha. ASGORE from Undertale is another personal favorite of mine and something I look back on in terms of arrangement and intensity. As for non-vgm pieces, Porter Robinson's entire discography hits all the marks for me.
