i remember watching videos of cave story as a child, and even though i was so young i didnt understand anything, i somehow still remember it till today, in other words i also need to play the game lol.

Fricking bop. Good job; it’s not often that i find a remix that’s almost as good as the original, and this might top it. Really good

It does feel a lot more triumphant and victorious than the original, and in that regard it loses a lot of the feel of the original, but i think the vibe still works and i love it so much

I'm not sure where exactly this plays but I came across a piano cover by Verdegrand on Youtube that inspired me to cover it. To that end, I have started playing the original game and it's been a wonderful experience, Balrog's boss fight probably being my favorite part so far.

For this particular arrangement I tried to capture as much feeling from the original as possible while adding some artistic flairs, you’ll probably hear what I mean.

Q. What program do you use to make your songs?
A. Ableton.

Q. What's your favorite song?
A. In general, I prefer listening to emotional tracks. Corridors of Time from the Chrono Trigger soundtrack comes to mind, I can't get enough of that ostinato in the beginning haha. ASGORE from Undertale is another personal favorite of mine and something I look back on in terms of arrangement and intensity. As for non-vgm pieces, Porter Robinson's entire discography hits all the marks for me.
