For his first outing on the Jambutek imprint, East London-based DJ and producer @rupertellis turns in a tight, three-track EP of rolling house music. Drawing from a plethora of influences ranging from classic acid house to the contemporary minimal scene, Rupert deftly weaves together a rich sonic tapestry as well suited for dancefloors as it is for listening. The release also includes remixes from long-time friend of the label @awsiproject as well as label head @asvajit.

For his first release on the Jambutek imprint, Nigel Perera serves up a nuanced two-track EP using a beautifully worked set of samples, keys and organic percussion. Pereras’s rock and jazz influences shine in "Dusty Entries" with its breezy mid-tempo pace and hip-hop vocals masking a collage of refined sounds; a perfect marinate to warm up an eager dance-floor. “Noodle's In Trouble” applies his dexterity behind the boards to a stop-stutter groove that tries to hustle its way out of trouble.

'Paprika' starts off with an organic blast of Rhodes like keys echoing in a grimy chamber, before filtered snares and shakers enter from a distance to solidify the groove. 'Bits' slows things down ever so slightly and opens its arms with shimmering chords and memorable vocal cuts sampled from interviews with electronic music pioneer; Delia Derbyshire. It's swinging deep house that could soundtrack a moody Sunday afternoon. @Nigel-Perera, who is on remix duty, provides a stripped down interpretation of 'Bits' to round off the release.

S II P serves up the refined and restrained 'Uii EP' which sees him fusing the sensibilities of modern deep-house with a stripped down micro-house aesthetic to create four easy going slices of contemporary minimal-techno. The title track, with its swinging and slightly off-kilter hats and skinny vocal cuts sets the tone for the release, while the remix by Sebastian Eric raises the stakes with a decidedly more up-beat interpretation of the original.

This nuanced three-track EP sees veteran producer @Pawas effortlessly fuse subtle melodies with lush, atmospheric soundscapes to create intelligent and refined electronic music that explores spaces in-between house, techno dub and funk. Featuring collaborations with Cologne based purveyor of understated and minimalist dub-techno, @Low-Volume, as well as the late, great @HellyLarson (whose prolific and lauded career was tragically cut-short in 2017), the 'Undivided EP' serves as a sincere study of life, loss, and artistry that manages to dexterously straddle the line between a diverse range of styles and musical aesthetics. The release Includes a masterful rework of the title track by Konstanz based producer, @PatrickZigon.

Leeds based DJ, producer and sound-engineer @MYR-UK prescribes four healthy doses of raw house music for improved wellness. Heavily influenced by early incarnations of deep and acid house as well as contemporary minimal and micro-house; MYR merges traditional analogue techniques with modern digital processes to create a heady cocktail of hard hitting bass-lines, spacey synths and bouncy percussion. From the restrained minimalist aesthetic of the title track to the jacking and up-beat rhythms of "Leaving Planets" this EP is a reminder that they do still sometimes make 'em like they used to.

Barcelona based DJ and producer @Ludowick supplies us with a collection of silky-smooth textures and well-defined grooves to welcome the coming sunshine. From the choppy percussion and beautifully filtered chords of the title track, to the up-beat rhythms of "Not For You", this 4-track EP contains an abundance of rich sound design and compelling sonic narratives to help us ease between seasons.

As the the tropical summer intensifies, we once again look towards South America for a breath of fresh air. Our much needed reprieve comes in the form of @AWSI, an upcoming Argentinian based DJ and producer with a bachelors degree in psychology who displays rhythmic prowess and sonic dexterity beyond his years. With the steady, rolling groove of the title track, the jacking beats of "Future Vision and the lush chords of "Lack of Sleep", this crafty collection of eclectic tunes (made in collaboration with fellow South American producer; @Maxi-Exeni) keeps things fresh from beginning to end. The EP is accompanied by two smooth remixes from the always reliable S II P (@skruzdeeda) and label resident, @Nigel-Perera.

Born in Transylvania and raised on the small island of Ponza; Hostox is a prolific producer of electronic music and owner of Ponza Records. His first outing on the Jambutek imprint sees the Romanian artist deliver a rolling two-track EP featuring the brooding, melodic rhythms of 'De Acqua' and the minimalist crunch of 'De Terra', which is highlighted by its dramatic, almost theatrical string section. The release is accompanied by a stormy reinterpretation from French producer Nikizi.
