We live in a world that is fearful of admitting our own mistakes. Yet, so often in artistic en devours, mistakes are an important part of the process. Growing up performing music, I was always taught to prepare enough so I wouldn't make a mistake on stage. This led to an almost unobtainable standard of perfection when I decided to record some of my music.
I realized that needing to be perfect in every recording was ruining the joy I got from playing, so I decided to try "One Take Wednesdays" where I hit the record button once, and was free to have fun and make mistakes.
