To Dream Of Past Glories [SESSION VERSION]

Original music (German Version): Christian Hans Bruhn (* October 17, 1934 in Wentorf near Hamburg).

The original series idea, titled Mr. Future, Wizard of Science, was developed by Mort Weisinger, an editor at Better Publications, during the 1939 World Science Fiction Convention. In it, a mutant superhero with superior physical and mental abilities was to be the main character. Three secondary characters were intended as helpers: a robot telepathically controlled by Mr. Future, a crystalline life form from Jupiter, and an ancient man who has read every book in the world and presents his knowledge as a walking encyclopedia. This was intended to combine the then-popular subgenres of space opera and superheroes. It took a lot of convincing for Edmond Hamilton, main author of the novels, to dissuade the publishers from their original ideas. However, the title remained almost the same at the beginning: Captain Future, Wizard of Science, but later changed to Captain Future, Man of Tomorrow.

There is also the Japanese one. I don't know how many countries also ran the comic series at the time. You'll have to find out the theme song for yourself 😆
