Sunshine, daytime fiestas, and open-air vibes are some of the reasons why we all love the summer! To celebrate this joyous season, we are excited to share with the latest EP by Hungarian artist James Cole, titled "Guestlist". Featuring two originals and remixes by Zlatnichi and Outway, this EP is guaranteed to turn the heat up this summer.

The opening track, "Guestlist", sets the mood with funky syncopated rhythms introducing the track, and a light yet groovy atmosphere growing on top. Arranged with numerous tense breakdowns and buildups of energy, this percussive roller is an ideal daytime festival roller. Taking the track into the darker side is the deviant remix by Zlatnichi. Stripping back the funky and syncopated percussive layers, this bare-boned track is built on top of a deep, growling bass foundation and mysterious synths flowing throughout.

The second original from James, "Uh Baby", picks up the pace, with accented kicks and snares making you want to move from the off. Fast and bouncy melodies move seamlessly around the track, tied together with a host of vocal snaps, gearing this track to heat up the stage in the day raves and pool-side parties. Outway compliment the original further with their signature medium-paced, heavily grooving sound. Percussive interludes and warm bass riffs drive the track, with the vocals from the original shining through in the breakdowns.

My first "official" Mix from 20 years ago at 2002.

Our BADGIRLS clubnight born in 2000 and this is the first copy of our mix series.
Of course, according to those times, it was only made from vinyl and we recorded it live. It is special to me for two reasons, apart from the fact that it is the first "released" mix on limited CDs... 
On the one hand, it represents a sound that is characteristic of me even from the perspective of 20 years. It completely reflected the world of sound, which is still represents of me as a DJ and now as a producer, I have been feeding from this world. The energie of deep house, with vocals, the rhythms of tribal drums and elementary grooves... all this was already there in me...

On the other hand, this is the most personal and important mix in my life, because I gave it to a beautiful girl in Transylvania, who has since become my wife, who is my best self, with whom this mix connected me and her, through the miracle of music, even from more than 500 km away... She listened to it in all day and night, and we became each other's for whole life!

AZ ELSŐ "hivatalos" Badgirls mix 20évvel ezelőttről!!!

Természetesen az akkori időknek megfelelően csak lemezről készült és élőben vettük fel. Két dolog miatt különleges számomra, túl azon hogy ez az első... Egyrészt olyan hangzást reprezentál, mely így 20év távlatából tekintve is jellemző rám. Teljesen tükrözte már akkor azt a zenei világot, ami ma is jellemző rám djként és egy ideje producerként is. Ma is ebből a világból táplálkozom. A deep house ringató kongái, vokáljai, a tribal törzsi dobok ritmikája a magával ragadó groove-ok... ez mind már akkor ott volt bennem, velem...

Másrészt ez a legszemélyesebb és legfontosabb mix az életemben, mert ezt adtam oda anno egy gyönyörű lánynak Erdélyben, aki azóta a feleségem lett, aki a jobbik énem, akivel ez a mix kötött össze többek közt a zene csodáján keresztül több mint 500km ről is minden nap... Rongyosra hallgatta, és egy életre egymáséi lettünk!
