James De Vaal, or more commonly known around the studio as JD The Junkyard Dog, is a Radio Broadcasting student with previous experience in the radio industry. Before enrolling in BCIT’s Radio Arts and Entertainment program James worked as an intern at MooseFM, in Smithers BC. MooseFM is where James acquired the radio nickname JD The Junkyard, James was taught by the MooseFM crew to produce high quality commercials, work the sound board and write professional grade ads. James has took this knowledge and made his way to BCIT to build a future for himself in the industry.
