DnB Becomes Her 2022

Based out of Leon, Mexico, Viewer returns to Smooth N Groove with another epic release. Back in 2018 Smooth N Groove received their first demos from Viewer, quickly followed up by his first release 'Spectre' EP. Fast forward four years and Viewer continues to make his mark on the scene with releases on well established labels, from the likes of L.A based Soul Deep Recordings to Liquid Drops.

The 'First Date' LP showcases Viewers latest productions and those all important signature vibes. Taking inspiration from jazz and soul Viewer immerses you in a sea of deep musicality. The title track 'First Date' features an addictive funky bassline and pristine drum work. Each track has its own highlight including collaborations alongside fellow countryman, Pardelluchs and well established Norwegian producer, Fishy.

Once again Smooth N Groove are proud to present the sounds of Viewer. His 'First Date' LP will be available exclusively via the Smooth N Groove Bandcamp, May 26th, prior to general store release. We look forward to more from Viewer as the talented producer continues to deliver tune after tune!

Hailing from the south coast, Kin:etic aka Alfie Morris, is receiving a tonne of attention at the moment, and for very good reason. Already building up a strong back catalogue of deep, flawless liquid-etched crooners, he’s building a reputation as a go-to soul purveyor, evidenced by the massively positive reception on each of his drops thus far. Originally linking up with SINE on the popular, sunlit banger ‘Essence’, Alfie is quickly finding his feet as a regular on the platform, setting the pace on a first official EP that sees him link up with the in-demand, versatile vocalist Duskee on the brilliant lead track ‘Changes’. Three standout solo tracks round out the project, with his supreme talents on show throughout. Dug-e's musical influences grew with childhood memories from Motown and soul to Dire straits, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Queen So.
In the early 90's Dug-e found dance music and had an affinity for house, hardcore jungle, and techno. DJ’s within his circle like Carl Cox, Ratty, Easygroove, and Donovan Bad Boy Smith inspired him to buy his first set of turntables in 93, and he entered into the dj world. With a mecca of nightclubs in his home town, Goldiggers (running the well-known Devotion night every Friday) was his regular spot to chill. After playing various venues regionally and locally, he got to return to this local hub and play.
Dug-e took a break from the scene for several years. In 2016, he was quickly spotted by Dance Conspiracy head honcho Marcus Allen who added him to Dance Con family with a dj residency in Nov 2017 and he hasn’t looked back. Dug-e has gone on to do special guest mixes for Meditdnb in Greece, on Blackduckradio, and on Donovan Bad Boy Smith’s show for Bassdrive.com. After connecting to Danielle Foster (DJ MissFortune) who runs Futuresoundsradio, he started doing monthly mixes for FSR. Dug-e has jumped into production and has been honing his trade for the last couple years with close friend and DnB legend Muwookie. Together, they have just released their debut 2 track EP with FX909 Music called Can’t Stand the Pain / Still…Keep your ears sharp for more music from this talented artist, as he’s showing no signs of letting up with new projects!
