Forever And A Day

James E. Dower is a singer/songwriter based in the Bronx, NY.  He has been performing in the NYC Metropolitan area for over 20 years.  This page showcases some of his original compositions.

Forever and a Day, SpaceSeed, and Holiday were recorded with Jersey City Heights producer/multi instrumentalist, Scott Garapolo.

James was a founding member and chief songwriter for Jersey based The Gully Hubbards(2013-2018).  This was an Americana outfit blending elements of country, rock, folk and blues into their songwriting formula.   They performed extensively in venues throughout New Jersey and New York.  "You Blew Up My World" is a song James wrote for that project.

In the 1990's James was the singer and one songwriter for the alternative rock group Screaming Meemies from Syracuse, NY.  "Come To Be" is one of the bands songs.
