If @matthias-kunze recorded nothing but hourlong silence for us, we would nonetheless be happy to publish it, because he, alongside his project klangextase, was an important discovery for us, and inviting Matthias to join our project was the least we could do. We were all the more pleased to learn that the person who has always been a source of inspiration for us has now been inspired by what we do… The rest is up to you – perhaps you should listen to the set and imagine how all of us are interconnected without even seeing each other, very often with no need of lengthy texts.

p.s. Inquisitiveness [ɪnˈkwɪzətɪvnəs] is the desire to gain more and more knowledge and discover as much as you can about things, a keen interest in everything that can enrich life experience, give new impressions.

Friends, 
We have entered a year which I believe will be quite special. I believe in symbols and numbers are the most powerful symbols. 2 and 0 together will bring transformations. Those might not be special in the way we expect, but it will be special in the way that serves the collective most. Nevertheless, we will survive this new era. Because we have something quite similar, under our skins, don't we?

I hope you enjoy this new mix full of melodic, dreamy and emotional sounds. Tracks are all released, some are all well-known, some are a bit forgotten. I will share the track list very soon. Thanks for being a part of my journey! <3

With a new weekend ahead of us. We can imagine how you are feeling and we are happy to contribute to your upcoming joy with some tunes created by our family. So enjoy, let go and dream away with us on this latest discovered gem by Aurelius Zon.     

Marco Aurelio Uson is a young producer based between Madrid, Spain and Bogotá Colombia. His music has been signed on labels like Traum Schallplatten and Iboga Records reaching the support from names like Acid Pauli, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Max Cooper, among others. 

This Artist realized it is impossible to limit himself to create only one style of music; his love for dark hypnotic techno & ambient is as large as his profound drive towards the more melodic and tribal music. For his more dreamy sound he created a new alias "Aurelius Zon”, using his second name “Aurelio” combined with his last name “Uson”. 

Transcendental and storytelling vibes are felt when Aurelius Zon´s music is playing where dreamy emotional melodies, deep atmospheres, and ethnical influences converge into a very emotive soundscape with a characteristic depth in sound.    

He told us he has been a fan of The Gardens Of Babylon since a long time... The set he created for our Isolation Diaries is done under his new artist alias he uses for his more tribal melodic music: Aurelius Zon.

Spring 2020 Mix

MAXJA 2020 was a Magic Reality in the middle of a Discipline Chaos. By far this year was the most challenging edition, yet the most heartwarming one. 

Resilience, Unity, Love were echoed around the whole Festival and Magic harmonically resonated with it. Also Mother Nature was very clear on her message and ceremoniously baptized MAXJA as a truthful and genuine Holistic Festival. Deeply Grateful for this magic experience and for everybody involved on it.  

Here you have the closing Set we played with my partner in crime @milko-moustache, it is a very decent summary of the days we spent together,  we hope it Reasonates!!

This year has been a little different. We’ve all had to readjust, recreate. It’s been interesting navigating these waters, finding out who we really are, and what we’re really made of.

With a calling to uphold tradition, we decided to host our annual Day After Thanksgiving Tea Pardee, but we cut the guest list by 75% and required Covid tests be taken before for everyone’s safety. The results.... The Universe exploding out of a CANON!! How beautiful it was to enjoy this experience on a more intimate level this time around and really get to engage with everyone there. 

What you are listening to is one of my favorite musical journeys I’ve taken in a long time. From rock n roll to melodic techno and everything in between, these are the sounds that inspire me. Enjoy the ride xx
