James Tweneboah known by his stage name Kinex, (born 13th September 1983 in Koforidua Ghana) and Richard Mensah (born 28th July 1983 in koforidua) also known by his stage name as Rexo are the fame behind the 2 IN ONE music group. Kinex and Rexo are known by their hit song “HUDAADA” which made waves in the year 2009 and beyond. These two friends got into contact with each other when they both met in High School. Their friendship and Music Career started in Koforidua Senior High Technical School (Mmarimma) based in Koforidua the Capital Town of Eastern Region in Ghana. Kinex was in the genre of Highlife doing his own solo thing, whiles Rexo’s genre of music was a melodious mixture of Dancehall and Reggea. The group came by the name 2 IN ONE as a result of two different genres being highlife and dancehall coming together to embark on one mission. Kinex and Rexo  started their combination songs in Sectech before they both completed senior high in the year 2003.Influentially the duo had influences from different living and late legendry music artist based on their styles. Kinex gives credit to Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba, Ofori Amponsah, Dada K. D, Kakyire Kwame Appiah, Daasebre Gyamena and more, who he personally met and took advise from them. Rexo claims his music career was also influenced by living and late legendry music artist like Culture, Bob Marley, Buju Banton and Lucky Dube . 2 IN ONE group first appearance in the music industry was in the year 2009 in the month of August when they released their first 2 tracks “SHAKE YOUR HUDAADA” AND “GIRL BI”. Fortunately “SHAKE YOUR HUDAADA” caught the waves both in Ghana and outside Ghana. “SHAKE YOUR HUDAADA” was on top of most musical chats during its hit days and got the group the opportunity to be interviewed on many radio and TV stations as well as performing on many musical platforms with various Ghanaian artist.  The second track “GIRL BI” featured koforidua top rapper T- Bone of Kanawu group. “HUDAADA” promotion was also assisted by Empire entertainment. In the year 2011 a single track that was a remix version of Hudaada was released, which featured underground artist like Fat B of Koforidua and Eunice of koftown base dancehall girl. The remix version was managed by Kendrea Wilson of Bout Business Records in Florida (USA).The Hiplife duo in 2011,moved to Accra from Koforidua, where they established their home based music recording studio at Lapaz called 2 in Onemusic Recording Studio. The studio is where most of their songs are recorded and mastered by Kinex of the 2 in One group who is a music producer. Though they have their recording studio, they have also worked with great music producers like Appietus, Jeff Quaye and King Cyrus.In 2013, 2 IN ONE music group had a two year management deal from Malele Records with Mr. Francis Okanta who is the C.E.O of Malele multimedia and the Executive producer for their second album “(PARTY)”. Their second debut album, titled (PARTY) had songs like “Party”, “Alagastia”, “Holiday” and“I really do” which featured Anne Victoria. All songs were recorded in 2 in One music Recording Studio with exception of Alagastia that was recorded in Creative Studio by Appietus.2 IN ONE goal is to take their music career to the highest peak that they always say, their father in heaven will make it happen. Also, the group hopes their music will provide new means to enable them donate to charitable organizations and help underground music artist to join the game. 2 IN ONE believes that everyone has a dream and goals and with God on their side their dreams and goals will be a reality. 2 IN ONE music fans should expect good rhythmic songs and as they always say “IT’S NOT OVER UNTIL GOD SAYS SO”.
