Opening with airy jazzy flutes in classic gangsta rap style, Galvatron warns us there is 'No Escape' from his infectious new DnB riddim!!!

The flute led intro sets the tone for stepping beats and snippets of the timeless amen break. A voice reminds us once again there's no escaping while air raid sirens lead us into the skanking and bubbling bassline that carries this track along with intent calling on the ravers to respond!!!

Make no mistake, this DnB banger is moulded upon the original sound of 94/95 a la Tru Playaz, Urban Takeover and Joker Records, a tune to bring out the rowdiness in you and the desire to completely lose it on the dancefloor!!!

Well, its been 3 years since our last SUB:CULT Collective compilation and the time flew by faster than we knew it. As such we decided it was about time to round up some of our favourite local and not so local producers for the next volume in our Collective series featuring a blend of deep and dark to heavy hitting and rolling Jungle and Drum&Bass tracks to take you on a journey through styles and sounds. 

As with the last 2 this is a Christmas give away via our Bandcamp page to say thank you to anyone and everyone for there continued and brand new support for the SUB:CULT brand be it our events, sound system or label. 
The SUB:CULT brand itself turns 7 years old in March 2018 and i reckon its about time we threw another birthday party..... keep your eyes and ears peeled online/facebook for more info coming in the new year!!!

Drumcode mainstay Bart Skils links up with emerging DJ/producer Weska for a maiden collaboration.

The duo first met in 2013 when Bart played Toronto’s iconic Coda, where Weska was a regular. In friendship and in music, they clicked effortlessly. Since then, the Dutchman has become one of DC’s most vital contributors, releasing a consistent stream of standout productions on the label, highlighted by the now-classic ‘Your Mind’ with Adam Beyer. Meanwhile the rhythmic power of Weska’s productions caught the ear of Beyer who gave the young Canadian his debut on the imprint with ‘Other Places’ when ‘A-Sides Vol.7’ dropped last summer.

When Weska migrated to Berlin a plan was hatched to collaborate, with the pair swapping ideas back and forth, before linking up in Amsterdam to finish the work. The propulsive ‘Polarize’ EP is the result, a pair of cuts that have highlighted Beyer’s gigs at Department Festival in Stockholm, Junction 2 and his behemoth B2B with Cirez D at EDC Vegas. The title cut packs a punch with rugged basslines and pin-sharp percussion, while stabs of melody dip in and out with euphoric effect. ‘Lost On You’ is a heady trip into the abyss with a sinister vocal line and powerful climax.

‘Camargue’ gets a fresh treatment on Drumcode, as a handful of techno’s finest give new life to an R&S classic.
Coming from the studio of CJ Bolland and Portuguese journeyman The Advent, the track was born out of a golden age of Belgium dance music and first released in 1992.

Enrico Sangiuliano delivers a trademark cosmic rework underlined by tribal bass stabs and twisted synth lines to accompany the famous riff. It’s an outstanding remake that’s already a big summer favourite for the Drumcode crew.

Kraftek are back from the label's annual August break - and with none other than Argentine duo Beico & MT93 who finally return to Kraftek for the first time since last year's blistering Cosmic Techno effort which put them on everyone's radar:  "Let There Be Dark". Although we waited a long time to choose their followup track, we are ecstatic to have the boys back with a record as good if not better than it's predecessor which ended up topping the techno charts for a month. Without further ado - this is Beico & MT93 - "Fury".

I'm mainly a guitar and bass player (been playing 29 years -am 45 years old) but I'm also a fan of electronic dance music. Using my old Yamaha *-track cassette recorder as a mixer, a sampler and 4 x 2TB portable terabyte hard drives that are full of WAV file beats and effects loops, I made a few Minimal Techno style tracks. I've made about 30 tracks so far (all in different states of completion but about 2/3rd's would be finished). I hope you can dig them! 
PS: These tracks go really well with some green herb and acid man! (if you get what I'm saying!)...!! Haha!! Enjoy!!
