Deep Inside

Making their collaborative debut on Purified Records, Serra 9 and Somyu unveil the immersive ‘Ocean’ EP. The title track opens with swirling melodies and deep, hypnotic grooves - blending Serra 9’s textured production with Somyu’s delicate, piano-driven touch to create a sound both fluid and expansive. On the flip, ‘Final Signal’ delivers a deeper, more introspective cut, layering atmospheric pads and intricate rhythms with subtle emotional weight. Together, these tracks form a captivating journey through melodic soundscapes and nuanced storytelling. A seamless fusion of both artists’ distinct styles, the ‘Ocean’ EP marks a standout moment for the pair - introducing a refined collaboration that leaves a lasting impression.

Taken by Brooke Pyke, the ‘Ocean’ EP artwork features a pair of young humpback whales cruising the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. Brooke is an award-winning marine life photographer from Australia, based on Ningaloo Reef in WA. With a background in diving, she now focuses on ocean, travel, and adventure photography, capturing the beauty of the underwater world since 2014.

Each year, humpback whales migrate thousands of kilometres to the warm, sheltered waters of Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef to breed, give birth, and raise their young. The Australian Institute of Marine Science (@australianmarinescience) supports research across these vital ecosystems, using science and technology to better understand and protect Australia’s marine biodiversity

Born and raised in Liverpool UK, JAMES ORGAN is a name rising through the ranks and rapidly establishing a name for himself in the Melodic House & Techno scene. After grabbing the attention of the likes Sasha, Damian Lazarus, Franky Wah, Hot Since 82, Hernan Cattaneo, Camelphat and Joseph Capriati, James was soon snapped up by taste-maker labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Last Night On Earth, SHÈN, Get Physical, Knee Deep in Sound, Circus Recordings and more. 
 
Alongside his impressive catalogue, James has been a regular to huge festival crowds at the likes of Creamfields, Parklife, Reading and Leeds, Wilderness, We are FSTVL. He has held down a residency at Liverpool's famous club-night Circus, while still touring frequently and appearing at venues and events including The Warehouse Project, Studio 338, Space, elrow and many more across the UK and Europe. 
 
As industry heads started to turn, so has Radio 1, as they quickly picked up James' tracks with major support  from Pete Tong, Sarah Story, Danny Howard and Jaguar, all championing James as one to watch and with good reason
