Philadelphia native James Bach is electrifying the dance scene with his intricate beats and multilayered melodies.  “While writing my music I think of the great orchestral producers of the past who used different forms of texture to create masterful pieces of music, but in the end it’s all about getting people off their asses and onto the dance floor,” says Bach.  When asked, Bach describes himself as an artist first and a producer second.
 
Bach has recently signed with Ventuno Recordings and Plasticage Records. His first two EP’s are scheduled to release on Beatport May 14, 2012 and May 23, 2012.  Both EP’s feature singer Bre Potter and will also include a remix provided by his close friend Genelec.  While Bach may be new to the dance scene, he is no stranger to music.  While growing up he was part of his school’s music program and won many accolades for his musical abilities.  Bach started playing in the local music scene at the early age of 15 and performed with some of the top local rock bands in the Philadelphia region for over 8 years.  At the age of 22, Bach was asked to move to Los Angeles to play for PJ Smith, who was managed by Flogging Molly’s manager Gary Schwindt.  However, by the time Bach landed in Los Angeles the entire project had come to a holt, but this did not stop him from persuing his dream. He continued his career and played with an impressive list of musicians and recorded some studio sessions with Metallica’s former engineer, Brian Dobbs.
 
  Bach now looks to take his success in rock n roll and use it to fuel his dance music to the top of the charts.  “I just hope to be able to contribute some great music to this ever growing genre,” explains Bach.  In the coming years Bach has aspirations to hone his skills and play at different venues around the world.
