'Xtasis' is the title of the EP and it's also the banger that contains impure euphoria, one that is detonated in complicity with the raptor house maestro, Venezuela's finest, DJ Babatr. Meanwhile, 'Grito' is a scandal. It's the call that demands for a rhythm that was looked down upon, but now is his time and this rhythm is driven into the future. The collision of guaracha with edgy sound design is here to stay by the hand of the Miami-based producer.

And well, as if that wasn't enough, the Hessle Audio Mainstay, Pearson Sound, arrives to deliver even more Xtasis, to enhance a track that has been creating a burst of joy at festivals and dance floors around the world, with the astuteness, precision, and elegance that only David can do. Finally, NY virtuoso @drjeep reinterprets 'Grito' with a hyper-active, sizzling and delicious approach that blends perreo and d'n'b with his sharp trademark. blablabla whatever… XTC para todxs, XTC for all.

Munich club label RUFFHOUSE are back with the fourth instalment of their annual compilation series, which continues to shine a light on some of the wildest, upfront club mutations from across the globe.

To be released on a limited edition CD and digitally, the 13-track compilation welcomes back label regulars like Koala, Lowquid, Yonkers Tale and Mignon, as well as label head Top Shotta and a stellar list of guest contributors including L-Vis 1990, Desto and Filter Dread.

Taking over a year to compile, ‘RUFFHOUSE VOL.4’ is the latest in a line of compilations that have proved a goldmine for abstract, exploratory and borderless club sounds since 2015, as well as spotlighting Munich-based artists like veteran producer duo Schlachthofbronx and sharp-tongued rapper, Sturmmaske. Building a micro-community around every comp, label head Top Shotta has quietly established RUFFHOUSE as one of Europe’s most forward-thinking, consistently innovative small hubs.

The old church stood high on the hill, an ominous presence presiding over the small town. Not much care had been taken to keep the building in good order, its condition had slowly and steadily deteriorated over the years. Inside, however, the intricate paintings that covered the walls and ceilings still remained intact, dulled in colour but still a sight to behold. But it was rare anybody set foot in here anymore. Many spoke of haunted tales and strange unexplained occurrences; disappearances and people losing their minds. Now suspicion and fear had taken control...

Davis' ODDiscos present their final offering of the year, a compilation bringing together a host of artists who all add their own distinct flavour to the release. Curated by Martinelli, Ferramentas Vol. I is a useful set of tools showcasing a wide variety of sounds and styles, from the percussive works of Kakubo and Martinelli himself to the sonic musings of Letrícia and Zelada. Our selection comes from LA-based producer Dreams who's haunting and atmospheric breaks take you to a higher plane...
