Wrote this years ago on a whim at the piano and was encouraged by someone to record it finally. This record is a very personal account of parts of my life. I hope this inspires others to hang on and aspire to new heights despite their personal challenges!

Hours has a throwback vibe (nostalgic of the last song played at the prom in an 80's or 90's movie) and is about the loss of a relationship and one  being trapped in time, grappling with insecurity and the feeling of a world moving forward, yet feeling stuck in place.  Hours has a driving modern yet familiar beat with an uplifting vibe! Even though the song is about a broken heart, Hours is danceable...which may suggest the idea of high energy letting go and moving forward in the best way possible. 

Hours is an anthem of sorts, mimicking the sentimental tones of Adele or other adult contemporary songsters. Hours may stir up memories of past loves in listeners as they can relate to the singer's plight but will also inspire feelings of hope and freedom! A perfect song for a road trip, a workout or even a dance party!

This song was written as an anthem not just for my life but for all who have experienced injustice and had to rise above adversity. American Warrior has an electro-pop feel with a good upbeat message.
