It has been three US election cycles since Fold released their first single ‘Mr President, We’re In Trouble.’ On the eve of the upcoming US election, Fold address a different president though the words of poet and activist June Jordan (1936–2002). On 'We Do Not Forget' she delivers both a scathing and moving indictment of an unjust imperialist war, carefully placed at the centre of a jazz-infused, cinematic reggae soundscape reminiscent of Massive Attack. Edited from a talk Jordan gave in 1991 during the Gulf War, this re-contextualised message applies every bit as much today as it did then.
