Live set recorded during a gig at the living Room, Newcastle in 2007. 

I've DJ'd all over the place since about 1997 when i first started doing it professionally- i was fortunate in that my family owned a nightclub which helped get my first gigs. Since then i've played in Ibiza and played a lot of 'proper house music' gigs in places like Hotel Es Vive (Ibiza) and China White (London),as well as holding down numerous residencies at clubs around the North East including Apartment (which was a very cool spot when it first opened) &amp; The Living Room, Newcastle (UK). It was while DJing at a London Fashion week event that i first got my break as a photographer, hence the two things have always been closely linked in my life.

This mix is more of a 'cut' mix than a 'blend' mix, simply because this was recorded later in the evening at the stage at which people just want to hear tunes they know played in quick succession, hence the tracklist might look a little odd to the connoisseur...!

A collection of Jazzy bits and pieces from a 2006 mix compilation. i was playing this sort of stuff at the Apartment in Newcastle on Thursday nights alongside a 20 stone black man by the name of Ron XL who would do freestyle raps over edits of tracks i had put together. Good vibes.

SupaCuba ft Paris Katsinas - Growing up

Recorded around 10pm this cover of a Toots and the Maytals song was a highlight of a brilliant day. Crastonbury 2010 was a 12 hour live music event held at the Craster Arms hotel in Beadnell, Northumberland and was undoubtedly a huge success. It proved to be unanimously enjoyed by young, old, families, locals, tourists and anyone who came anywhere near the show. The fact that you could hear it for miles around probably had something to do with the very strong turnout and phenomenal atmosphere. Planning for 2011 is already underway, and it promises to be another massive event with more entertainment lined up alongside improved facilities, catering and alcohol supply to cope with the large crowds anticipated.

Amy Housewine and the KME'z - Monkey Man

Part of a session which was produced in my studio for SAFC Foundation which supports local kids in the community through arts projects in connection with the football club.

This entertaining Irish folk song features Andy Reid (Ireland international footballer) on lead vocals with backing from kids participating in the project alongside some extra guitars from me.
