NOT DEFINED BY ONE GENRE - THERE’S INFLUENCES FROM HOUSE TO HIP-HOP, GRIME, AND PERCUSSIVE CLUB SOUNDS. LABELS SUCH AS SYMBOLISM, TRESOR AND PLANET RHYTHM HAVE HAD A HEAVY IMPACT, AS WELL AS THE SOUNDS OF DETROIT, BERLIN, CHICAGO, BIRMINGHAM, LONDON AND NEW YORK OF THE LATE 90S AND EARLY 2000’S. LAST YEARS' HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDED SETS AT BODY MOVEMENTS, ARIA, FOSSIL ARCHIVE AND FOLD, SUPPORTING ACTS SUCH AS RENE WISE, TALISMANN, INVEXIS, R.M.K, AND AMANDA MUSSI.

This thirteenth episode of the Elata series features our co-founder, Aniaef, for her very first podcast. While working tirelessly to build Elata's identity, she has developed her ear and skills, drawing inspiration from the atmosphere and music around her. Her approach relies on precise execution, rhythmic sounds, and sophisticated elements to create a thrilling journey centered on dancefloor energy.

Polish artist who has been living in London for several years, Anna is also a photographer, specializing in portraits and press photography. She is known as the face of Elata, constantly bringing her smile, her positive attitude, her kindness, but also her countless hours of hard work!

This episode is very special because it allows us to present the other side of Anna: Aniaef, an artist not to be missed, and you can be sure that she will populate the lineups in the coming months!

Episode 41 sees us welcome James Harbrecht, a London based DJ and producer known for his hypnotic, energetic and deep interpretation of Techno. 
The Elata Collective resident has notable releases on labels like PRTL WRX, Different Sound, Schimmer and more.

I first came across James a couple of months ago when deep diving on Soundcloud and was immediately drawn to his layered and meticulous approach to mixing and this exclusive set is no exception. 

For those lucky enough you can catch him this Friday June 6th headlining Drugi Dom club in Poland for the TR x zerozero showcase.
