Since the music was interactive, its not available on cd or mp3...So I felt it was such a cool track not to be available for people to listen to right meow. about 90% of this track is content from the original samples taken from beck. You really can't get any more 80's than this game, so, naturally, I sampled the theme of the game, made a few catchy riffs to go along with it, threw in my favorite 80's drum samples, and presto. Epic. 80's. Synths. Heavy Duty Monster from the past. about 60% of the melody is unedited, while the rest is heavily chopped up. This is my own remix, however, any sampled content from the game is strictly used for promotional purposes. The original composer has full copyright of the material. Please enjoy and share openly, and if you haven't played Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, go get it. 15 dollars never got you so close to going back in time to the 80's...sort of.

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (James High 80's Club Mix)

I was thrilled when Modal Electgronics brought myself and AlphaCode on as factory bank sound designers for their new Cobalt8. And it was even more exciting when they had me produce demos for their ads and promotional content.  But the extended mix took my excitement beyond that even. 

I had originally discovered AlphaCodeSynth on youtube and I thought he was one of the most talented sound designers I had heard.  After a few chats, I found out AlphaCode had been producing music even longer than I had been, and was pretty dang good at it too. So without a moment's hesitation, I told em he should throw down for the Modal Demo I had created to make an extended mix and build off the original. I sent him the stems for the Cobalt demo and said "here ya go man, go to town. lets see what comes of it."
He did not disappoint.  Wow is an understatement. 
Suffice to say you can expect to hear more from us in the future.
