Chaotic Neutral 065 - Bill Patrick

A 57 minutes extended edit version of The Orb's Blue room (1992) with several weird samples underlying the Orb's music. In fact, I have used more than 50 voice samples and extended the track from 34 minutes to 57 minutes with the awesome basslines of The Orb and studio wizardry of Kris Weston. I will remove it upon request. NO LSD was used during this process.

Blue room 60 min edit - The Lysergic UFO Acid Trip

'Pixel Rain' marks the debut release from Moscow-based musician Dima Safronov, originally hailing from Bryansk. Dima brings fourteen years of DJ experience on his shoulders, he has organized numerous parties, and he's also curator of 5/8 Radio, a music station he founded eight years ago.

'Pixel Rain' doesn't aim to be conceptual, but rather captures the mood of a specific moment, capable of sending listeners drifting along waves of memory. Four compositions feel like brief flashes of emotional impulses, joined together to form a unified whole. Two original tracks (including the title track, created in collaboration with Safronov’s close friend Robsn), seamlessly flow into two dance-oriented remixes, each reflecting and reinterpreting the mood of the originals.

The second track - 'Shinichi Atobe, I am Your Son' is imbued with a dense, sun-drenched melancholy that unfolds gradually and unhurriedly, through an elegant counterpoint between a deep dub-inflected bassline and a ghostly, mist-like melody in the upper register.

As a member of W.H. Lung, Tom Sharkett has provided electronics for one of the best bands in the UK, including on their most recent, critically acclaimed LP, ‘Every Inch of Earth Pulsates’. These DIY, indie-oriented experimentations have slowly led Sharkett to unexpected places as a solo artist in club culture, via the portal of Manchester’s legendary venue, The White Hotel, where he was inspired by inspired by cult nights such as Red Lazer and Wet Play, 

Sharkett has since collaborated with artists such as System Olympia and Raf Rundell, as well as appearing on Optimo Music and Okay Nature Records. His subtle, spirited edit of LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Home’, released as a bootleg in early 2025, has recently re-emerged on DFA Records as an official release, just in time to become an unusual wistful summer anthem. 

Sharkett captures this fruitful moment in a contribution to Phantasy’s long-running mix series, which features a smattering of currently unreleased material, while bridging Cabaret Voltaire, Slowdive, Eden Burns and even Chappel Roan. True to the eclectic philosophy of Sharkett’s DJ and production trip so far, PHANTASYMIX 53 is a rare trip.

With Izzy Ment plus Albertine Sarges & Sebastian Eppner (of Ostia) three multi-faceted multi-instrumentalists used their Shutters Studio Residency to deep dive into spacious, airy ambient sounds, working in one of Germany’s biggest synthesizer collections, located in Hamburg’s old WW2 bunker. Usually based in Berlin's DIY lofi indie scene as singers, songwriters and producers, the trio kept it instrumental this time. A 9-minute-ride played on analog synths, reminiscent of greats like Aphex Twin, Laurie Anderson and Oneohtrix Point Never.
