We were pleased to be part of the second edition of Beats and Friends. This fantastic gig took place on a unique rooftop in Medellín, where friends and music lovers gathered for a beautiful musical journey. The local talent of Fili, Andres Oquendo B2B D Zubiria, JSO, and Suzerquia was in charge of putting the crowd into the mood under an amazing Medellín sunset. Then, the headliner's Mak Negron and Raized finished the night with astonishing performances.

It has been several years I haven't been playing in Mar Del Plata, Argentina.
After 2 incredible nights in Buenos Aires playing a huge club and an open air event for 8000 people, I landed in Mar Del Plata to play in the intimistic Club Quba.
I do love small clubs! Dj Booth is situated, totally in the middle of the crowd, Boiler Room Style! As I was expecting, the night has been full of energy! Mar Del Plata is Defo One of the best place to play!

Bio:
There is one thing that can be attributed to this young artists steady uphill climb to success, that is his pure passion and love for music.

Over the last several years, extensive travelling as well as living in both Europe and North America have helped him mature musically and shape his sound.  Weather it be a grooving open-air Tech House set or dark, late night, driving Techno, his ability to create a unique vibe on the dance floor has always made James stand out as a DJ.

Diving into the realm of production at a young age, James’ work in the studio has seen him release on top labels including Incorrect Music, ONOFF recordings, Tres14, Natura Viva, Monique Musique and many others.  His productions have been well supported and played by a number of industry leaders such as Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Paco Osuna and Luciano to name a few. Also releasing under the alias OHNIN which is targeted at a more minimal Techno sound, he has signed music with imprints such as refused. , Malicious Smile, and MYSELF Music.  In 2018 James launched his own label “Game Theory” which will serve as a platform for releasing both his own music as well as other artists from around the world.

The last few years he has been taking his sound worldwide playing at some of the worlds most respected clubs including Egg (London) , Do Not Sit On The Furniture (Miami) , and Vertigo (Costa Rica) .  Frequently performing around Mexico,North America and beyond James continues to embrace every opportunity to do what he loves.
With an undeniable passion combined with relentless drive and work ethic James Hopkins continues to push forward and evolve as an artist.
