Anjunadeep label favourites Simon Doty and Marsh announce their first collaborative single, ‘Touch The Sky’. A track tried and tested on dancefloors around the world, ‘Touch The Sky’ is out November 1 and marks the first offering from Marsh’s forthcoming artist album, ‘Endless’, out February 3, 2023.
Few artists exude as much passion for, and dedication to, their craft as Tom Marshall (AKA Marsh). Since he first emerged on the electronic music scene in the mid-2010s, Marsh has sculpted a uniquely soulful sound that has captivated his listeners and earned him a fast-growing and intensely devoted fanbase.

Marsh’s forthcoming album ‘Endless’ follows two previous bodies of work; his 2017 debut ‘Life By The Shore’, and his critically-acclaimed Anjunadeep debut LP, ‘Lailonie’, the latter of which has accumulated over 20 million streams to date, and sold over 1500 vinyl copies.

Marsh also has an array of widely-supported anthems in his discography. ‘Come Together’ (with Nox Vahn), ‘Little Darling’ and the Beatport chart-topping ‘Lost In You’ are some of his best-loved tracks, all streaming well into the millions and winning support from electronic music’s biggest artists, including Joris Voorn, Pete Tong, Diplo and RÜFÜS DU SOL.

The two years since Marsh released his previous album ‘Lailonie’ have seen Tom moving around the States, and touring the globe in a world rapidly opening up post-pandemic. This whirlwind, semi-nomadic lifestyle has inspired his third artist album ‘Endless’, and caused him to take stock of his values. In his own words,

“I’ve written this entire album on the move, writing from so many different homes.On a deeper, more spiritual level, this has led me to question, what is truly home and will we experience home after this life?”

‘Endless’ comprises twelve memorable tracks, including collaborations with vocalists Jodie Knight, Leo Wood and Mariel Beausejour. Drawing on influences as diverse as the rich trance sounds of the 2000s that soundtracked his teenage years, and the musicality of crossover drum & bass acts like Pendulum, Tom’s next offering is perhaps his most expansive in scope. Opening with the subtle first track ‘Pneuma’, the album moves from the emotive and lyrical, on lyrical, emotive tracks like ‘Sleep’ and ‘Forgiveness’, to piano house melodies on ‘Reminiscent’ and smooth broken beats on ‘Blue’, all united by Marsh’s innate warm musicality.

Ahead of his album release, Marsh has a busy schedule, appearing on all 13 dates of Anjunadeep’s upcoming European and Australian tours, including stops at iconic venues like Amsterdam’s Paradiso, and Berlin’s Watergate. In addition, he will be appearing at Above & Beyond’s forthcoming landmark show, ABGT500, and going back to back with ‘Touch The Sky’ collaborator Simon Doty to a crowd of 12,000. Marsh’s own headline world tour will kick off in January 2023, and bring his signature melodic stylings to even more of the world’s dancefloors.

Canadian DJ and producer Simon Doty announces his debut album ‘Universal Language’. The ten-track LP will be released on Anjunadeep on the 28th of April 2023, with the first single ‘Soulflow’ (feat. Ursula Rucker) out today.

‘Soulflow’ sees Simon collaborate with American spoken word artist Ursula Rucker, whose thought-provoking vocals can be heard on tracks with artists including Dusky, Marquis Hawkes and Josh Wink. Combining Ursula’s vocals with stabbing chords and a driving bassline, Simon perfectly epitomises his timeless house sound that has previously earned him support from Adam Beyer, Adriatique, Gorgon City and Hot Since 82, among others.

A firm favourite among fans of the label, Simon first debuted on Anjunadeep in 2019 with his track ‘Sama’ and has since put out five stand out EPs on the label, including ‘Hometown EP’, his ‘Living Sound EP’ and most recently, his collaborative cut ‘Touch The Sky’ with Marsh, which have collectively amassed over 3 million streams and support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Gorgon City and Ben Malone.

Crafted for the dancefloor, Simon’s debut album ‘Universal Language’ gives the audience a chance to listen to a range of musical styles that they can expect to hear Simon play during one of his DJ sets, ranging from house to deep house to melodic techno.

Franky Wah kicks off 2021 with new EP ‘Should Have Seen It Coming’, his maiden release on the legendary Anjunadeep, out 12th February. 

A four-track EP, ‘Should Have Seen It Coming’ opens with the lead title track, an emotion-drenched vocal cut pairing poignant breakdowns with the soaring vocals of AETHO. Next up, ‘The Last Stand’ sees the Yorkshireman shift to a progressive house vibe while maintaining the intensity of the opener, before ‘91’ again centers around an irresistible trance-inspired breakdown. Closing things out, is the fluttering ‘Boundaries’, a sophisticated, ethereal house jam that proves to be a fitting finale. 

Showcasing the artistry that led to the unison of artist and label, the skyrocketing DJ will be the next to take the reins on the iconic Anjunadeep Edition mix series, further cementing the new additions place in the roster. On joining the Anjunadeep family, the UK prospect mused: 

I've been into Anjuna since I can remember really. I've found the label has always struck a real sweet spot in my personal taste as their releases use a lot of old school elements with a modern twist which is essentially my sound. 

Franky enjoyed a career-affirming 2020 that included putting out a collaborative EP with dance music icon Sasha and dropping his debut mixtape The Revival Vol. 1, which included singles ‘You’re Not Alone’ and ‘Come Together’. The latter was nominated for Annie Mac’s 'Hottest Record Of The Year' and certified as her ‘Tune Of The Week’ and ‘Hottest Record In The World’ on BBC Radio 1, as well as garnering support from Pete Tong and MistaJam. With a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix now under his belt, he spent an impressive 10 weeks on the Radio 1 Playlist, 5 weeks of which on the A-List. The producer also made waves featuring in the globally renowned GQ Magazine in 2020, with an extensive feature focussing on the rising talent’s expansive repertoire. 

Going back to his roots, ‘Should Have Seen It Coming’ sees Franky Wah tap into his love of deep, melodic music and takes the genre into bold new territories.
