The coronavirus and the ensuing quarantine has definitely given me more time to get my feet wet with selecting and mixing tunes, which has always been a passion of mine. Music is universal. Music is art. 

There are billions of people living on this earth and everybody has a story to tell. I've always been intrigued by history and the history of dance music. 

Shortly after moving to New York, I fell in love with it. Dance music has one of the coolest backstories ever - the Studio 54 doc on Netflix is great, but there are a few other documentaries on YouTube that are incredible. The history of house is traced back to Chicago, techno was born in Detroit, and Europe fell love with it. 

I encourage everyone to do a deep dive and explore - especially in times like these. Music is a way for people to express themselves and back in the 1970s and 1980s disco music became popular. It laid the groundwork for the house music we have come to know and love today. Anyways - enough of me rambling on. I hope you enjoy the mix.
