Pupils in Year 4 have been learning how to play the JSax. Today they mastered how to play 8th notes and navigate repeat signs. This was a tricky piece to perform as it is so fast but the pupils did very well!

53 Year 6 instrumentalists from across our 5 primary schools came together for the day with our secondary musicians for a day of festive music making. This culminated in a fantastic evening concert hosted by the Jayess Newbiggin Brass Band, where over 70 NCEA students joined in to perform the pieces they had mastered during the day. What an amazing experience!
