These Foolish Things

This is my original composition based off of the opening poem to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. This was performed by UNC Jazz Lab Band 1 as a part of their "Electronic Wonderland" project. 

Featuring Mike Conrad on Trombone and Chang Su on Soprano Saxophone.

The Golden Afternoon

A song about the stillness of morning. I was thinking of a friend who had a parent pass away and the complex feelings of sadness/grief and love/celebration of someone's life.

The Good Fight (Big Band)

This composition for large ensemble follows the classic heroic cycle in which a protagonist starts at home, is called to action by a threat, meets companions along the way, faces some great evil, and returns home a changed person.
