In the autumn, the aroma of pumpkin spice on a chilly day reminds us of the beauty of life, and the joy and warmth of fellowship with family and friends. A Season for Pumpkin Spice is based on the traditional American hymn "We Gather Together," and as a teaching piece, it emphasizes legato-style, and expression through dynamics and phrasing.
