V111, aka Jacopo Varen, is an Italian DJ/producer who has produced music since 2013 under his V111 and Varen aliases for labels such as Suara Music, Pushmaster, Opium Trax and many more. Arriving for the first time on Radio Slave’s techno-focussed Rekids Special Projects, V111 delivers four racy tracks crafted for pounding clubs and dark rooms.

Leading the release, the title track ‘Erotik Talk’ opens with crunchy percussion and twinkling leads before a creepy breakdown introduces a powerful sense of dread. ‘BDSM’ maintains the energetic pace of the EP, bringing sliced up vocals and rave stabs alongside a powerful 4/4 pattern. ‘Ball Gag’ sees twisted synthesis wrapped around heaving drum programming, making for a dense techno jam, while ‘Sex Domination’ sees squeaky FX paired with shimmering hats to close out the EP.

After the devastating earthquakes affecting Turkey and Syria, Istanbul based Techno brand RX has teamed up with artists globally to release an exclusive compilation in order to help the people in need.

37 of the hottest names of the current techno scene have donated a brand new unsigned track, where all the sales and streaming funds will be directed to NGOs to provide support and assistance to earthquake victims both in Turkey and Syria.

We are grateful for the global unity of the techno scene for such an important cause.

Brussels' contemporary techno specialist @phara-6 gears up for his sixth release on his Phaaar imprint: 'How High Can Pigeons Fly'; a dithering expedition through breakneck techno, cavernous EBM and spine-tingling electro. 

'Beetham Tower' sees the FUSE resident ply a decadent myriad of percussion across a mind-bending bassline, with its title referencing Manchester's 47-storey skyscraper — a futuristic-yet-dystopian structure that can be seen from all vantage points across the city.

Orbit Berlin is a new underground techno label and collective created by Flight Møde, G.oss, and Kobzev. Supporting upcoming talent is a focus alongside established artists, with an eye on raw, spacey sounds and an analogue machine ethos.

'VA001' is their inaugral 10-track compilation that welcomes a host of talent from countries including Spain, Germany, Ireland, France, and Italy.

Collectively the artists included have released on top quality labels such as Robert Hoff's trau-ma, A.Paul's Naked Lunch, Fiedel's Fiedeltwo, Z.I.P.P.O's Fides, Ketch's SYXT, Philippe Petit's Knotweed, Fixon & Dig-it's ANAØH, OECUS, Synergie, amongst others.
