Last time we heard from Bristol producer Conducta was around the release of "City Breeze"—a floaty R&B-meets-garage jam from August last year. This time, on new single "Felt This Way", he's teamed up with fellow Bristolian Notion for another bass-heavy affair. "Felt This Way" still features some silky R&B vocals, but the star of the show is that molten lava bassline! It's no wonder both producers have been getting so much attention lately. With basslines like this and a learned appreciation for R&B vocals, these two will definitely be making some big moves this year. Watch this space.

Conducta & Notion - Felt This Way

If you have been following garage, bassline, grime or funky over the last few years you will no doubt be aware of vivacious genre hopping producer Notion, who had been putting records out on labels such as Champion’s Forumla and Project All Out along with remixes for Tumble Audio and extensive support from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Rinse.

His latest release – In The Air - comes on the prolific Four40 Records and we, being the sick heads that we are, have managed to bag an exclusive premiere of one of the tunes, Drowzy – a number evidently constructed by someone who plies their trade regularly in a live setting that sees a dancefloor destroying combination of hefty garage drum flavours, bouncy vocal syncopations and rugged bassline science all locking each other off into a head nodding, shuffle ready groove that is hip shakingly irresistible.
