Chicago legend DJ Skull makes his first solo appearance on D'Julz's Bass Culture imprint with his 'Powered Funk' EP packed loopy and infectious house cuts, including the fluttering and jazzy track 'Bopping'.

Since emerging in the early 1990s DJ Skull has been a fixture on the global club scene. In more recent years he's proven to be a steady supplier of dancefloor weapons and his latest offering delivers three useful ballads with chunky bass, crisp beats and hints of acid. This is DJ Skull still at his best!
