On one rainy day in Birmingham, Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo met in the studio and produced this edit of Wicked Games. Once they got a hold of the acapella, they knew they had to build a track around it. Everything was recorded using live instruments and they used no samples except the acapella of course. The result is this “Lush” “vacant but absorbent” edit that is something even your mother could dance too.

Recently, DJ SUN unveiled a mysterious new venue in the Lausanne region of Switzerland. This secret location offers a mystical and dark ambiance, perfect for dancing and deep introspection. The goal is to provide visitors with a timeless escape where the music carries them for hours, thanks to secret line-ups that allow DJs to truly express themselves.

For DJ SUN, in our fast-paced and selfish world, taking time is crucial. Taking time to reflect or, conversely, to let go and be transcended by powerful, raw, and primal music.

Born in Switzerland and currently residing in Berlin, Germany, DJ Sun has always been immersed in music from a young age. With musician parents, the connection to music has always been present. His journey began when he discovered the world of illegal rave parties in 2015 where electronic music reigned supreme.

The set opens with a nod to his past and hip-hop influences, creating an intimate bridge between his roots and his current artistic vision. Kicking off 2025 for us is Switzerland and Berlin Resident, DJ Sun. With musician parents, the connection to music has always been present. His journey began when he discovered the world of illegals rave parties in 2015 where electronic music reigned supreme. Fascinated by their organization, DJ Sun quickly decided to venture into organizing his own illegals raves, which led to the founding of the OTIUM collective in 2018. Over time, he honed his DJ skills, specializing in old-school techno infused with influences from hip hop, jazz, and house.

Beyond his DJ performances, he has also delved into VJing projects, leveraging his videography skills. For the past four years, he has been creating his own compositions to add a more personal touch to his DJ sets. The creation of his own label, OTIUM Records, in collaboration with his best friend Rødig, has been one of the highlights of his artistic journey. DJ Sun’s universe stands out with a commitment to quality over quantity,
focusing on creating his first EP in 2024 that will reflect an authentic artistic approach. Looking ahead, DJ Sun’s project aims to create an A/V show entirely controlled by machines on stage. This complementary project is more festival-oriented, providing a more «touring» aspect compared to the clubbing/
rave element of a DJ set.
