Hi folks, here's my SCS 2023 mix from Manchester. The evening was one of the best nights/crowds i've played at in a long while. The build up to this event was immense and the night was beyond any of our expectations. A huge thank you to all you lovely people who came and partied hard until 4 a.m too, i wasn't expecting the floor to still be as busy and full of the nicest, clued up old skool ravers. Props to the Mods who worked so hard putting this together and also for maintaining this awesome Facebook group. Every DJ played a belter, Steve Vertigo was a complete gent and played a blinder as predicted. So it was left for me to finish off this seminal occasion with a set packed full of my edits which i'd created especially for this evening. I hope you enjoy this mix and it gives you the same enjoyment i had playing it to such a beautiful gathering of like minded souls. Thank you. Going out to everyone involved in the SCS site. Hi peeps, here's my 80's Breaks mix that the guys at House Music Collective kindly asked me to do. This is my selection of early Breaks, Uptempo Hip Hop, Electro and Hip House. There's a fine line between a lot of these genre's & this is my interpretation of what I call early Breaks influences. Some of the edits are more recent than the originals, but I used them as the quality was much better and they were quite true to the original recordings. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I did making it, it really took me back to my B-boy faze before I got into Electro, then House.
