What I Might Do (Kilter Remix) - Ben Pearce

Jamie Jones launched the Hot Creations label back in 2010 with 'Ruckus'. Now Jamie makes his long awaited return to Hot Creations with 'Planets, Spaceships', a four-track EP set for vinyl release on 18th November 2013.

These tracks have been Jamie's secret battle weapons all summer. Tapping into a dark sider but with that distinctive Jamie Jones melody and drive that are a signature feature of his DJ sets. Title track 'Planets, Spaceships' features vocalist Daniela Caldellas from Digitaria, who has an album planned for Hot Creations in the new year, whilst 'Cookie Monster', 'Starp Trek' and 'Stick' take things even deeper with vocal snatches and crisp claps.

Highlighting his avant-garde style and showcasing exactly why he is recognised as one of the leading figures in the rebirth of house music, 'Planets, Spaceships' further cements Jamie's place in the dance music hall of fame.

Here we have an original cut named Brutus, a great melodic techno weapon made for synthesiser lovers. The remix is from Audiojack, creators of the anthem 'Machine Code', they came out with a profound remix that maintains the spirit of the original but with a much more focus on the beats. This brilliant remix was originally done as a secret weapon for Subb-an, Noir and a few close dj-friends to play out and surprise the crowds around the globe.
After handing out private copies to a few selected djs we ended up with enormous support on this remix from:
Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Radioslave, Art Department, Pete Tong, Dubfire,
Matthew Dear, Tiefschwarz, Butch, Gorge, Jimpster, Sasha,Reboot, Deetron,
Tim Green, 2000 And One, Catz n' Dogz, Matt Tolfrey, Ryan Crosson and
Nic Fanciulli.

At DC10's closing party at Ibiza the Subb-an Remix was played no less than 3 times and the crowd was ecstatic each time. And after the YouTube video of Seth Troxler & Jamie Jones playing the track that specific night surfaced we have now ended up with a huge buzz and demand for this track to be released.

The energy and feeling around the track is what makes the difference and Sidney’s House Lesson EP is a straight up house number that is reminiscent of the US house sound – full of groove, drum rolls, hi-hats, snares and a vocal that offers a lesson of how to create that perfect house track.
 
Chris Carrier’s B-side remix picks up the pace, adds a signature percussion sound and strips back the vocals to create a more techier focused version of the track.
