Here's our take on one of Steppenwolf's classic hits, Born to Be Wild.  Always a favorite of mine, the formidable duo of Tom Adams and Paul Racle bring energy and great chops to this recording.  Tom's such a fine guitarist, and his blues rock feel brings us back to 1969.  And Paul's grooving and driving bass anchors and propels it all.  Everyone know's Paul here on SoundCloud by Paploviante, not only for his bass playing but for his creative energy, and music production across so many styles.

Fireplace - with Paul Racle

This track is Jamie & I jamming to Fire on the Mountain by the Grateful Dead.  A simple but catchy tune with a cool bassline, which gave me a chance to use my octave pedal and qtron :) 

Jamie is playing organ and piano here and I am on guitars and bass.

Vivek Patel is a monster trumpet player and musician, and I was thrilled when he jumped in with Mirko, me and many other jazz players on a tribute to Miles Davis we recorded several years ago.  The fantastic and always grooving Mirko Borach - aka Stringburner - once again anchors the electric bass here.  Vivek's horn playing is exceptional...his beautiful haunting tone, his inside and outside playing as Miles did.  And Mirko's funky slap bass playing is tight and nasty. So much fun here with Stephan Lipinski and Paul Racle as we blow through some Alpine Grooving.  Our blues original set's Paul's fine bass line down, with Pinner knowing just what to do.  Paul is one of the most creative and inspiring voices here, producing so much fine music that bends genres and nails them too.  We all owe him a big thanks for vast collection of music he has recorded to inspire others to join and create.  Sweet bass grooving from him here!  
Stephan is a hired gun too, and we've done over 50 tunes together so far, yet have not met:). But we will and that will be an important party!  Can't wait to do the same in Zurich, Paul.  You know that:)))
