Back with Edinburgh's master funk rock guitarist Ian Tait with a world groove called The Awakening.  This one combines a number of styles, from dance to rock to hip hop and includes a Middle Eastern vibe as well.  Kind of a blending of many cultures and grooves.  Ian's done so much of the 25 tracks we used to create this, with his great lead play, harmony, wah rhythm and more.

The Awakening - with Ian Tait / guitar

Jazz/Fusion keyboard player, composer and producer.  Marketing, advertising, publishing and sales career.  Originally from Chicago, where I developed a strong appreciation for the blues and classical, and moved to New York, where jazz and the fine arts are so deep.  Key musical influences include Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Zawinul and Weather Report, Chick Corea and Return to Forever, John McLaughlin and the Mahivishnu Orchestra, Stanley Clarke, Scott Henderson and Tribal Tech, Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Emily Remler, McCoy Tyner, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Larry Young, Buddy Guy, Santana and Earth Wind & Fire.
