Shirts & Ties is the first track off Jamie's 5 track Debut EP. The song is upbeat and full energy. This track is a prime example of the style of modern folk/rock music Jamie creates.

Coming Home is a song written by Jamie on a more personal level. Written whislt on the road with Brian McFadden in support of Ronan Keating's Fires tour across the UK. Jamie shares with us that the lifestyle of a musician being on the road  isn't always as glamourous as people are led to believe. 

The songs starts with a subtle finger picking style melody whilst then exploding into a powerful, meaningful, anthem like chorus.

Jamie is a contemporary folk artist who projects an energetic light hearted sound. He has given the genre a rustic quality by incorporating more drums and electric guitar to his folk inspired music. Jamie certainly makes his presence felt by creating a powerful, original and energetic folk/rock sound.

'Jamie brings feel-good folk vibe along with him to his performances. Jamie's voice has a comforting and warm quality to it, closely described to having a Jake Bugg quality to it.

Jamie has just finished recording his debut EP at Sun Studios, Temple Lane, Engineered & Produced by Michael Heffernan which is ready to be released very soon.

SOUND:

Jamie's sound takes inspiration from other bands & artists such as Mumford & Sons, Fleet Foxes, Jake Bugg, Hudson Taylor, Tallest Man on Earth and The Frames. 

Jamie has gained vast experience over the last couple of years by supporting Ronan Keating on his ‘Fires’ arena tour across the UK performing as guitarist/Drummer and Backing Vocalist for Brian McFadden (2013) playing in venues such as the London O2.
