Rework of the classic Donna Summer track, used the bassline throughout and jiggled the rest of the track around. Added my own drums and tambourine etc, any comments gratefully recieved.

After watching the film Cadillac Records (twice in a week), this for me was the stand out track, but it was a little too short, so here's my extended version  - added a kick low in the mix too.

My cousin Gary and I got together a while back to play around making some music in my studio (aka my Grandmas dining room!).  We sampled a vocal from one of Garys favourite records from 1996.  Being really happy with the outcome, we tracked down the original artists to talk about using their vocal.  
Long story short, we're really proud that our track is released this week as part of a remix package of that original track on their own Melodious label... A pleasure to work with these great guys.

Jamie Gittins - Superfly @ Pacha Promo Mix - Ibiza 2016

Over at Bens house to work on some music today and he was singing this, we both looked at each other and said, I really wanna do a re-edit of that, so we had a fun few hours extending bits, finding random vocals from the film, putting some filters on and a few random bits etc...

Classic from 1977, I love the vocal on this, but the same with most tracks from that era it was too short (3.25mins), so it needed extending to play out and on my Radio Show, so I've played around with the arrangement, extended parts and added some percussion etc. Hopefully this works better for the dancefloor...

This is the 1st track from the collaboration of Cream Ibiza Resident Sean Hughes and Jamie Gittins.  This track has been released by Cr2 as an exclusive track on the 'Es Vive / Sands Ibiza 2010' Compilation
 
  'Don't Mean A Thing', samples the great Louie Armstrong track: 'It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)', giving it an up to date jackin house feel. The track had its 1st play last friday night on the 'Galaxy in Ibiza : Cafe Mambo Show' on Galaxy Radio to great reaction as the pair were interviewed about their collective Disco Bomb party in Ibiza.
