Everything stopped. Well, not everything. 

But we all kinda froze in place; had to.

I became a dad. I quit a bad job and replaced it with a great one. 

Finally, after months lying dormant, the clouds lifted and my love of music returned.

We're vaccinated now. Immune, as far as we know. Ready, tentatively, to start moving again.

This set is full of tracks which would sound good alongside the landscape gliding past the window of a train, or on the sweep of a freeway winding out of the mountains, or maybe whilst peering down through the clouds at the winding course of a great river.

It's an awakening.

Musically, it’s deep but upbeat. It’s hopeful and also sad. It’s a celebration of all that we love and a memorial to all those we’ve lost. Whether it's in an basement club in Hong Kong at peak hour, sunset on a beach in Thailand, in a dusty whiteout on an art car shaped like a giant brain at Burning Man, or in a massive club sound system in San Francisco, his infectious energy and track selection sets the right mood and gets the the crowd moving.

He's a member of the San Francisco collective, The Space Cowboys, and has had the fortune to share billing with artists such as Lee Burridge, Stanton Warriors, Tara Brooks, A. Skillz, and many more.

After finding her way to her first underground in 1995, Jamie James quickly realized she was not only a raver but a dancer down to her core. From that point on she has danced her way through life, knowing the dance floor will always be a sacred and therapeutic space to hold her. Feeling extremely grateful to have found the rave scene at such a young age, Jamie decided to start helping to produce parties in Seattle, Honolulu, San Francisco and Austin. In 2007 she joined forces with her beloved Strategik crew, known for their out-of-this world, marathon renegades and signature breaks vibe. True to her heart, Jamie worked hard to keep a variety of other genres flowing throughout each lineup, especially drum & bass. In 2016, twenty years after her first party, Jamie finally decided to jump in and learn to mix. That’s when DJ J’amie Ma Vie was born. Becoming a DJ has been one of the most humbling experiences Jamie has ever had. Experiencing first hand the amount of time, energy, and love that goes into creating a musical journey continues to blow her mind. As a dancer Jamie has always held a deep appreciation for DJs, but taking a chance and learning what it’s like to be on the other side of the decks has expanded her understanding and respect for DJ culture exponentially. While Jamie enjoys playing multiple genres, drum & bass stole her heart in the late 90’s and will always be her favorite to throw down. When she’s not behind the decks you can find Jamie handling operations for festivals and events all over the world, including The Envision Festival, Symbiosis Gathering, Sunset Sound System, LIB, Dirtybird, BoC, Unison & Sanctuary.
