This piece is for 4 hands piano. But what you hear in this recording is played back by the notation software. This piece can also be played by a single pianist if sufficiently advanced. The difficulty for a single pianist would lie on the rapid succession of thirds on the left hand, which requires great dexterity.
Lots of changes in key in this piece. The first 13 measures (i.e., the first 30 seconds) go through the following sequence of Major keys: A, D, A, D, G, C, F, and E-flat. It then remains in E-flat for most of the piece until near the end when it starts shifting through keys again.

I wrote this song back in April 2021 when we were back in lock down and I was feeling disconnected from the world. Interestingly enough, I was called to revisit this when out of nowhere I lremembered it this week after being stuck home due to Covid in my daughters class. Luckily she stayed healthy , but it reminded me that we all play a part in keeping each other safe in this world by taking care of ourselves, each other and the planet we live in.

Long story short I needed music to help me through this and The Junez stepoed up to help put it all together after I created a demo for him. He added so much to this including bass, guitar, drums as well as a mix and master. I am really proud of this piece.
