After numerous club bootlegs in the last year, Jamieson Hill and @JACKFORDWORLD have released their first major artist collaboration on @cleopatra-recs Hypnotic imprint. A 2019 remix of iconic 80's #1 hit, Tainted Love by @soft-cell-official. The two have stuck to what they are good at, turning pop tunes into DJ friendly club tunes. The deep house remix starts off with a down-pitched vocal stab that acts as the entrance for the instantly familiar Tainted Love bass line. The track breaks, vocals are teased building anticipation and then, all of a sudden you're sucked into a freakishly familiar sing along. Tainted love is the first of 4 dance collaborations between the two set for release this year.

Jamieson Hill and JÅCK FÖRD met in Los Angeles during the summer of 2015. Jamieson was DJing and wanted to put out records. JÅCK was producing pop records for young singers and wanted to learn how to DJ. Hill has long since polished his craft while living in NYC, he appeared on various TV Spots as himself, including Master of the Mix, a DJ reality show, and has held residencies across the US and Asia. Meanwhile, in Nashville, FÖRD was producing artists, such as Parson James and Maty Noyes, while managing a major recording studio. The two quickly learned that their talents complemented each other's and started to work on dance records and DJ parties. When Jamieson and JÅCK get together to play a party, their performances blend live instruments, vocals, and turntablism.

Jamieson Hill is known for his dynamic stage presence and innate ability to blend decades of music into his four to the floor DJ sets, bringing all age groups to the dance floor. Jamieson Hill starred on Smirnoff’s MASTER OF THE MIX in 2011-2012. He was the youngest DJ on the show and was one of twelve DJ’s who were selected from thousands to be cast on Season 2. At 22, Jamieson’s remix of Justice and Daft Punk hit #1 on Hype Machine Popular Chart. Soon after, he was hired as a resident DJ in Japan and played at Tokyo’s F Bar and Vanity Lounge. He currently holds residencies at Deliah and MA in LA.
