I've been playing at Love International for ten years now (11 if you consider the year we started) and I've found records that are absolute favourites that for me suit the setting perfectly and they get an airing every year. London based producers, visual artists and DJ duo, Good Block have been throwing parties in the capital for nearly 15 years. Hosting the likes of Ramzi, Mogwaa, Jex Opolis, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Jamie Tiller, Zaltan, Bufiman, Jon K, Cosmic Slop, Bradley Zero, Apiento, Bahamian Moor, Trujillo, Jonny Rock and many more. 

In 2018 the duo started a very popular dropbox folder of free edits which slowly continues to expand. With a string of productions and remixes on the likes of Isle Of Jura, Emotional Response, Planet Trip, Heels & Souls and Duca Bianco they also released three EPs - 4 Corners, Aquaculture and Naiad / Dryad on their own imprint.

On 20th March 2025 the duo will debut their full length album ‘Window’ a collection of works recorded between 2017 - 2024 representing hours of musical experimentation and emerging from the many influences that have shaped their sound. The album will be available on limited edition double gatefold vinyl and full digital release, with artwork by the duo.

Back by popular demand: Tako's wonderful Holiday Mix!
Here's what I wrote 7 years ago:

I was about to post this beautiful summer mix of Tako with the following words:

"What do you expect from a mix when it's done by a supernice guy with an excellent taste in music and a wonderful record collection? Yeah and that's exactly what you get here. Also make sure to get a copy of the first 12" of the Sombrero Galaxy, released on Lovefingers long awaited ESP Institute. Sombrero Galaxy is the collabo between Tako and Jonny Nash and their "Journey to the center of the sun" is one of my favourite releases of the last years, cheers!"

That was yesterday. In the meantime something terrible happened. Tako's friend Petros Malevis from Athens passed away without a warning. This mix is dedicated to Petros! He will be missed. Rest in peace, Petros.
