The Harlem Renaissance was a period from the 1920's to approximately the mid 1930's when Black artists established their voices making Harlem the epicenter for the "New Negro's" emerging Black voice; the  new voice.  W.e.b Dubois, alan locke, Claude Mccay, Romare Berden, Jacob Lawrence and Zora Nale hurston, just to name a few where among the  leading intellectuals and scholars at the time. 
 I honour the ancients who paved the path and offer this song.  Produced by Jo'el.

Harlem Rennissance

Jo'el invited his friend J.  J had this melody, J put the synth voicing and piano, he played it I came in with the bass and Djembe.  The rest is history, I hope.  I would love to redo with percussion and orchestra.  The vibe represented Peace,Love, Unity and we where having Fun!!!!!!!  The title represents the participants.  

This was a freestyle composition I created on my old piano the moment of the recording.  Jo'el did his magic remix and walah.
