One of the new vanguard of the British electronic music over the last few years, Adam Shelton has been winning plaudits from dance floors across Europe with acclaimed performances at some of the worlds hottest nightspots from Berlin’s esteemed Panorama bar to London’s Fabric and iconic Ibiza club Space. 

We’ve always been deeply impressed with both his work as a DJ and a label boss at his own imprint One Records and so we’re delighted to welcome such a champion of underground electronic music to deliver this weeks podcast ahead of his performance at Circoloco in the Arena; from acid to tech Adam seamlessly delivers it all. As someone with his ear firmly to the ground, his label One Records has long been known as a breeding ground  for emerging creative talent, having showcased the sounds of Seelie, Jordan Peak and Death on the Balcony alongside more underground scene veterans such as Geddes, Burnski and Jozif.

 So as the sun beats down enjoy  a journey  through sultry and atmospheric sounds towards acid-drenched techno and back again. The perfect accompaniment to that party you’ve been planning…

Jampikid - real name Patrik Villand - first saw the light of day on 24 September, 1998.
He was born in the beautiful county called Maramures in Transylvania, Romania.
His passion towards electronic music started at a young age which grew bigger and bigger as he got older, slowly developing his taste in music with every set recorded.
Starting to get picked up by the musical events in and around Ingolstadt, Germany, Jampikid is starting to slowly make a name for himself in the region. He also started a residency at Nest by Liebe & Triebe in Ingolstadt.
His sets include a selection of deep and hypnotic beats, steadily bringing the groove on the dance-floor for everyone to enjoy.
His music brings joy to your ears and feet, makes you nod your head and dance to the beat without you knowing it.

Not only a very talented musician, producer and DJ partner, but also a very dear friend of mine and a source of inspiration, @optical is a very talented sound selector, combining various melodic elements with groovy beats and basslines. All of his sets are a journey of their own, always surprising his listeners every time he plays. Founder of Manege Frei! and Krawallbäckerei, Aurel is also organising events in and around Ingolstadt, Germany and played on festivals such as Zuckerbrot & Peitsche, Utopia Island and legendary clubs such as KaterBlau, Berlin and Palais Club, München.

A few words that describe Jampikid, for who he is and what his music stands for. He was born in the northest point of Romania in the late 90's and later moved with his family to Germany, where he lives since his teenage years.

Being influenced by multiple genres as he grew up, Jampikid found his musical playground being in the house music spectrum. From tech to minimal, from deep to disco, his sound is forever evolving, drawing inspiration wherever he goes.

Starting his professional musical career in 2019, where Jampikid became resident in his local club, he continued to evolve as a DJ until one day he decided he wants to play his own tracks. With the pandemic hitting the world, Jampikid decided to dedicate his free time to music production and now he has released on household labels such as Denser, Whoyostro, Blanc, Hungarian Hot Wax. Jampikid also played in numerous clubs, from Münich up to Berlin, in clubs like Kater, Bahnwärter Thiel, Süss War Gestern, Das Nest, where he supported the likes of Jake The Rapper, Juliet Sikora, David Jach, Pauli Pocket, Thomas Stieler and Format:B to name a few.

Der Name ist Programm – ein echter Haudegen aus Ingolstadt!  

Aurel ist seit 2010 tief in den Wogen der elektronischen Tanzmusik versunken.  
Er hat die Krawallbäckerei mitgegründet und ist der unverwechselbare Resident der wilden Batterie 94.

Und Aurel? Der ist längst nicht mehr nur in Ingolstadt bekannt – er hat die Tanzflächen ganz Deutschland erobert!  

Zu seinen geilsten Erlebnissen zählt der KaterBlau in Berlin, „Enorm in Form“, und bei Zuckerbrot & Peitsche hat Aurel die Menge so richtig verzaubert – mit Beats, die den Raum zum Beben bringen.  

Sein Techhouse, gerne gewürzt mit Vocals, ist treibend, gefühlvoll und katapultiert selbst die steifsten Tanzschuhe in eine neue Dimension.
