Emerging from a global pandemic, the band Jam Tub have been creating major noise since their formation in early 2023. Bandmates Michael Stott and Fergus Hamill, then joined by bassist Freddie Dobby, honed their skills as monstrous three-piece and quickly settled into the scene, performing to sellout crowds and amassing a growing fanbase. The band closed out their highly successful year with the release of their iconic debut single ‘Riverside’.

Heads were quickly turning and with ongoing support from BBC Introducing, the band’s tunes have been heard across the world. Described as “Teenage trio whose explosive indie rock is blowing up a storm in venues across the North East.” by GigSlutz and their tunes being praised amongst many, Jam Tub landed themselves in the eyes of other artists like Tigercub and Falseheads. At the start of 2024, they released their follow-up single ‘Daisy Chain’, demonstrating the softer elements of Jam Tub. Soon after they were added to ThisFeeling’s ‘Best New Bands’ playlist on Spotify as well as Tigercub’s ‘TOUR JUKEBOX 2024’.

It’s upwards from here for the band as they continue to develop and craft their live sound, pouring effort and passion into their performances.
