A screenwriter and a teacher, Rajabali has written Ghulam, Rajneeti, Apaharan, Aarakshan and Satyagraha while also serving as a Honorary Head of Screenplay Writing at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). As an Executive Committee Member of Film Writers Association (FWA)he has been significantly involved in pushing for the rights of the writer. We spoke to the prolific writer on his journey into the world of filmmaking, his early days as a writer in the industry, and the role of FWA in getting the writers a better deal.
