Not a SC colab..This was done in 2008 at the tail end of my producing days in NY  ,where I  produced many different genre & artists ..I remixed this song  in 2013  : the lyrical writer was Due Creed ,he  also mixed the original stereo beat  at  his studio , but brought  it to me without vocals  to "fix " it  , he had the snare way too loud and bunch of other mixing issues , he told me he is not a mixer .....I recorded all the vocals , added some live instrument & lil of my vocals ,guitars etc  .. ....Helen harmonized her own voice , she has been singing since she was in kindegarten also previously  was in a group with Due Creed  and some others folks , idk their group  tho , I met her for the 1st time on this track,,....Enjoy !!!!!!!ue Ried

:) I always focused on serious message songs ..However in between doing those "message songs" I heard this song on my car radio recently :) Its a very old "fun" song written by Toots Hibbert and covered by umpteen British artists over the years  ..I put this song as a "cover" song mainly out  of  "respect " for Toots  ... cos  nothing about "my" version resembles his original version or any other versions (some of the words here are mine as well ) :),,,I played this live using  mainly my  an acoustic guitar in my unique style . I did it for the "fun" of it ,,idk..  ... The moral of the song story is about a man cussin his girlfriend (or now his former girlfriend) about rumors that he heard that she is now dating an "ugly man" ! Ugly as a monkey!  not really a "dangerous" song  in my opinion ...:😊  ...thanks  !!!!

He often told us many true stories just like the one in this this song  .., We were 16 year  old HS  students  when he was a 20 years working dude ..... Actually I remixed this track twice in one year ..in addition to this final remix a year later  with multiple  live musical instrument and vocals added overdubs on the fly ...  . ... … (bass guitar , percussion, piano , and multiple vocals ,tracks)... The Australian that sent me this beat in it’s very basic form , he used “native instruments”  samples to build it , he did not know how to play instruments "at the time"   .. ...... .. ..…I first met this  collaborator after my first few  months on  SC  ,when I   posted   a hand full of my personal songs  I was bombarded by over  a hundred clouders  seeking  “vocals additions” to their beats  ..  I already had many songs that I had produced  and was producing before SC so i was  busier than they imagined ... Been doing music as a vice since 14 years ..( music lessons at 6 years old  )..btw .(.I hated music lessons (theory ) but loved the understanding  it gave " generally how to count beat to the bar timing song "key" scales  chord progression etc  I can't figure out how folks create music without knowing these  basic ..beat me ... !!
