After being in my school's steel drum band for almost two years, I felt compelled arrange some music for a pan ensemble. Two songs that inspired me especially were "Coconut Mall" (from Mario Kart) and Shelly Irvine's "Samba el Gato".

Hey all! I was just messing around with the percussion for The Runaway Theme when I spawned this out of quite literally nowhere. I was inspired by the couple of shots from Old Iron when James was racing down the main line to compose this. I'm quite impressed at how quickly I made this. Hope you all enjoy!

James' Hurrying Theme

Not perfect, but I’m happy with it. Of all the Welch compositions I believe this is my favorite. One of the most memorable at the very least.

Determination

I made this theme quite a while ago trying to replicate what thomas' theme could've sounded like if it had an added trumpet into it. This was the result of such, it almost reminds me of his winter themes that he had through the first Season. Anyways, I hope that you all enjoy listening to this as much as I did making it, thanks again!

So I know it's been a minute since I've made any form of The Runaway Theme and I wanted to make it sound better than my last attempt at it. Connor was gracious enough to send me his midi for the Old Iron variant  of the theme and it sounded wonderful on its own, though if you know me you know I had to add more to it. Hello again, here's another theme for you all. I had this idea a couple of months ago and I just remembered it. I started making it last week, but gave up on it to work on some other things. I took the time today to go ahead and finish it and I'm pretty with how it turned out. Hope you all enjoy.

Thomas Pulls The Flying Kipper

This little theme was based on the idea of Thomas' first time on his branchline. His naive attitude and cockiness towards Annie and Clarabel and hasteful speed when racing down the line. I finished this today and am most happy with the way it sounds. During our extensive travels through the Ethiopian highlands, I frequently felt the presence of this traditional Ethiopian music in my heart, a music that acknowledges all the hardships of the journey and fosters a broader acceptance of life's true nature.
