When we were searching for a new singer all the candidates had to sing this song. Mrs. Nans van Deursen hit it on the head. After two minutes it was clear that she had to be the new leading lady.

Boppin with the  Blues

Drummer Hupie Schell, one of the founding members of Mrs. R&B and the Soulshakers, is a huge fan of Louis Prima. 20 years ago the band used to end the show with Just a Gigolo. That's a song everybody plays nowadays. That's why we chose Closer to the Bone.
