Inviting Intimacy is a 2 or 3-day workshop that invites you to explore and deepen your relationship with yourself and others, especially as man to woman or as woman to man. 

Intimacy, while sometimes hard to find or maintain, is what we yearn for. Intimacy is also the doorway to meaningful connections and loving relationships. 

Whether you're longing for a deeper connection with your love partner, with friends and family or with God, the first step is to deepen the connection with yourself. In growing your awareness of body, emotions, mind and soul, you become more 'at home'. 

Inviting Intimacy is a journey towards yourself. While challenging, it will be fun and thought provoking. The course invites you to show up more and more. It invites you to make friends with parts of yourself you have confined to the dark corners of your psyche. It invites you to find the courage to be true to yourself and to feel into another person. - at the same time. It will encourage you not to shut down, but learn to open in consciousness. 

You are invited to awaken to your full potential, to shed the limited beliefs you hold. Inviting Intimacy is a journey of growing compassion and care, for yourself and others. This means opening to all your feelings. If your heart is breaking, let it break open. Trust that you are greater than your wounds; you are growing and the past doesn't need to limit or confine you.

Doorways to the Heart: Transforming everyday life - now

This workshop is an invitation to explore what it means to be in love - with yourself, with your life, with the people around you. 

Living with a deep yes to "me and all that I am, and you and all that you are".

Every day we are opening and closing our heart. Something happens, somebody speaks to us and we close down. Or the other way around. Something happens, somebody speaks to us and suddenly our heart is open. Are we only victims of life or circumstances or is there something for us to learn? In any case, we all have our habitual ways of shutting down, triggers that 'get' to us. And we know too how wonderful it feels when we open to the world, giving of ourselves generously and letting the world into our being, letting it touch us in both joy and sorrow.

I know the pain of shutting down, contracting in fear or shame, or sometimes rigid with anger or blame. I remember the hardness of my closed heart, stuck in shame or fear, in blame or judgement, struggling to get out or busy, trying to ignore it, distracted. I know the sense of imprisonment and helplessness that this gave me.

I know, too, the tender, raw softness of my open heart, the generosity, abundance, gratitude, pouring myself out into the world. I know in opening again, the radiant trembling, flowing, glowing, giving, melting.

"Doorways to the Heart" a journey to let go of the past and welcome each moment as an opportunity to consciously open our hearts to welcome whatever arises within us. It is a journey into friendship with ourselves, a letting go of the struggle and a doorway into joyful, heart-centred living.

This weekend is an opportunity and an invitation:
- to release the contraction in our own heart 
- to bring more consciousness to the ways we shut down 
- to experience giving and receiving love 
- to explore simple practices that we can use in our daily life as doorways to the heart

Doorways to the Heart is not about how to be nice. It is about learning, through experiencing, to give and receive authentic gifts of the heart, and to grow in compassion, empathy, friendliness, courage and trust. 

As we learn to trust in the resilience and strength of our own heart, we can open to the depth of our feelings, even the most painful, without getting lost or drowned in them, and we can enjoy an ever deepening connection with ourselves, the world around us and with spirit.

The weekend will include guided processes in small groups, meditations, dance, sharing circles and touch.

Being in Love

Living Tantra

Living Tantra is a series of sexuality and intimacy workshops that begins with Living Tantra 1. It offers an opportunity to explore more deeply into the realms of ecstatic loving, sexual intimacy and sacred union. 

Because of the nature of this work, a pre-requisite for the Living Tantra course is the foundational workshop, Living Tantra 1. When you have completed the full 7 days of Living Tantra 1, you can participate in any of the other Living Tantra workshops and you can also join the 18 month Living Tantra Training group if you wish. 

The aim of Living Tantra is to give you a space where you can learn and grow into celebrating your natural, healthy sexuality with ease, playfulness, tenderness, consciousness, integrity and joy. 

Living Tantra is for people who want to experience richer relationships, deeper intimacy and more authentic connection with others. 

Living Tantra is a carefully structured seven day residential workshop which includes guided meditations, explorations in small groups and sharing circles. Many of these explorations involve dance and touch, two simple actions which can encourage all that is within to be held with consciousness and compassion. You will also be introduced to ritual and ceremony, to breath work and the body's natural sources of energy. This workshop invites participants into expansion of the heart, mind and body. 

The workshop will focus on the ways that we love, relate and express our sexuality as man or woman. It aims to open participants to a deeper 'yes' to all that they are. In the process, you will discover the potential for ease, delight, playfulness and consciousness. 

You will meet others in a caring and respectful environment and you will be encouraged to awaken a more spiritual connection with your sexuality. 

You will learn to discover your desires and how to express them openly, with care and respect. 

You will learn to love and honour yourself and your sexual nature as a man or woman and to celebrate your sensitivity, sensuality and innocence. 

Throughout Living Tantra your willingness to be alive and present with your core emotions is always encouraged. Explorations that focus on discovering and expressing your personal boundaries are an integral pat of Living Tantra.

The Living Tantra series of workshops can either be taken individually or as part of an extended training course of personal growth. The benefits you can get from this workshop are:

This workshop will bring new experiences, new practices and ideas and a greater clarity of thought to anyone consciously seeing personal growth in this area of the human psyche - sexuality. Allow your spirit to connect with your body, give yourself a truly holistic experience which can set the tone and pace of your future sexual self! 

There is no pre-requisite for Living Tantra 1. However if you want to do a weekend Introduction to Living Tantra, there are opportunities throughout the year to attend these. They are currently led by Jan Day or her senior students: Louise de Caux or Seth Newman.

The Mirror of the Heart

A workshop for couples to reawaken sexual passion and intimacy. There is a profound intimacy in revealing ourselves and our innermost sexual dreams, desires and needs within the safe space of an ongoing committed relationship. 

Although it may be uncomfortable, embarrassing or challenging, the gifts that come with this courage to tread the path of truth bring back, finally, the deep intimate connection that is the heartfelt longing of every person. 

Most of us have grown up in this culture to find parts of our inner lives, dreams and desires to be unacceptable. As we grow up and come into relationship we learn to limit and hide parts of ourselves. What we show to our beloved is often only that which we believe is acceptable. 

When we step beyond this conditioning, we can give ourselves the freedom to want what we want. Wherever our wanting starts, it will lead us to what is truly right for us, to our heart's desire and our soul's longing. It can ignite the passion that brings aliveness and fulfilment so that you can live within a long-term relationship that is satisfying, sexually rich and allows each of you the space to grow. 

Anything that we are not prepared to feel, experience and share becomes a block to our intimacy.

Over time and with familiarity, we can settle into habits and patterns of relating with each other in which our passion and intimacy stagnate. The safe and habitual has not led to satisfaction. Our willingness to dare to show up and BE who we really are is the only way we can truly meet our partner. 

To step beyond safe territory and enter the unknown, is a powerful step towards deeply fulfilling intimacy. In this process we naturally find a deeper acceptance and intimacy with ourselves and learn that we don't depend on external circumstances for our own happiness.

To be truly with another we must first come home to ourselves. 

Within a relationship we have to do this again and again and again even when we are afraid to rock the boat. As we reveal ourselves we naturally connect with our dreams and begin to feel again the vividness of our own aliveness. 

In this process of stepping together into the unknown, we can learn to live both true to ourselves and to look after our relationship. Healing happens because we rise above our fear of failing, our fear of abandonment, piece by piece we let go of our suffering and recognize that only our fear creates distance and heaviness around our heart.

The workshop invites and entices you to let yourself be human, fallible, passionate and vulnerable so that loving relationship is possible. You can learn how to grow playfully out of whatever fears, guilt, shame and restrictive beliefs spoil the pleasures of sexual loving for you. 

Throughout the weekend we will focus on:

*  Listening and being present with an open heart

*  Becoming aware of the ways we shut down

*  Sharing our needs, wants and desires

This workshop includes touch, guided processes and ritual, meditation, dance and open sharing circles. It will provide a safe and yet powerful environment in which you can learn to trust your own natural energies and find a freedom and passion to take back into your daily life.
