A collection of tunes from the label and from the club night we have promoted over the years.

Over the past 10 years, Rudimentary Records have been minting tnew music releases alongside the nights they run. As promoters and DJ’s they have supported and played host to a maze of artists over the years. This mix is a collection of the music they have put out on the imprint and pinned down with tunes from some of the artists that have joined them at their parties in the past.  

Much like the label itself, this mix jumps and hops from tempo to tempo with disregard for sustained genre pockets. It's very much a love note to the trail of bodies they have left behind and a perfect way to highlight the last 10 years of fun & work.

In response to Trinh T. Minh-ha's Grandma's Story in Woman Native Other: this work is an experiment in fragments and wholes, processed through a delay cloud in Max MSP. Likely, this piece will grow through further repetitions of the score. This is a rough sketch of a mix performed as part of the MFA in Performance + Performance Studies at Pratt Institute.
